This is the actual issue. The rattle you can hear sometimes when you accelerate is quite common for the kappa engine (1.0 tgdi) and most other three-cylinder-engines. I am not sure if an oil change will help there. There are owners with an milage over 15k (oil changed allredy) and the sound continues at startup.

From what I've read elsewhere, replacing a turbo by itself is often pointless; usually they fail through oil starvation, usually because the feed pipes 'gum-up' with burnt oil. If you don't replace the feed pipes, its only matter of time before the new turbo suffers a similar fate.
